Rangsit Municipality and RV Connex Partner to Develop AI-Powered Smart City Management System with Drones

Bangkok, Thailand, November 2024 – Rangsit Municipality and R V Connex Co., Ltd. have signed an agreement to test an innovative AI-driven Smart City Management System for the Rangsit Smart City initiative. The system is designed to enhance efficiency in monitoring and managing municipal challenges through the use of smart drones, including:

Flood Detection: Real-time analysis of satellite imagery and canal water levels to monitor and respond to flood risks. Area Surveillance: Detection of unauthorized access and illegal activities in monitored areas. Integrated Data Management: Centralized analysis of data from multiple sources to support informed decision-making.

The Mayor of Rangsit Municipality, said, “This partnership marks a critical step toward smarter urban management, enabling faster and more precise responses to ensure public safety and improve residents’ quality of life.”

R V Connex’s leadership stated, “We are honored to contribute our expertise in AI and advanced technologies to establish a new benchmark for smart city solutions in Thailand.”
